Approximately 130 Madison County High School students and faculty members celebrated “A Taste of Latin America” for Hispanic Heritage Month November 1.The program included a dance performance by Bilka Pompa and Alex Damian, Latin American country recognition and representation, and the Quinceanera celebration featuring models Bilka Pompa and Ashley Amaro. Delicious samples of Latin American food were enjoyed by all. Many thanks to Mrs. Booth and the FCCLA officers, Mrs. Booth and the Culinary I and Culinary II students, The Duarte family and the Supermercado La Pasadita, the MCHS Hispanic Heritage committee, Mr. Bullock and the MCHS Admin team, and our MCHS students and MCHS Alumni who worked so hard to put this together. A very special thank you to Mrs. Edwards for working so hard on this amazing event.
